Alexa earned a BA in political science and international relations with minors in Russian and history with high distinction in 2017, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. While at Iowa, she served as the human resources director for the Beta Omicron chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta and the Chairman of the University of Iowa College Republicans. After graduation, Alexa worked for Speaker Paul D. Ryan in his office in Washington D.C. She now serves as assistant press secretary to Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa.
