Tom graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2023 with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. While at the University of New Mexico, Tom participated in the Fred Harris Congressional Internship Program where he worked in the Congressional Office of United States Senator Martin Heinrich.

Tom’s research interests lie in the relationship between representatives and constituents and the impact of this relationship in forming legitimate coercion in solving collective dilemma problems.
