Byul Kim received her BA in English Language and Literature and Political Science, and her MA in International Politics from Kyungpook National University. She has professional experience at the Daegu Metropolitan City Government in South Korea and the Peace Research Institute, KNU. Her research focuses on how to improve the effectiveness of the United Nations Security Council, with broader interests in international organizations, conflict management, peacekeeping, and peacebuilding.
