Debora received her MA in International Relations from the University of Rhode Island. 

Debora's research interests are in civil conflict; specifically, how external interventions by governments and intergovernmental organizations shape civil conflict dynamics. She is also interested in natural resource conflict in Africa and peacebuilding.
