Biography

Angela Wolfe Kelley is the Deputy General Counsel, SVP at Heartland Financial USA, Inc., a $10 billion bank holding company headquartered in Dubuque, Iowa.  Prior to working for Heartland, Ms. Kelley worked for Faegre Baker Daniels LLP, an 800-attorney law firm based in Minneapolis, MN, practicing large corporate and real estate law, including work for clients such as Wells Fargo, Target, Cargill, IBM, U.S. Bank, and General Mills.

She earned her J.D. with distinction and Boyd Service Award highest honors in 2007 from the University of Iowa College of Law.  While in law school, she was a student writer for the Iowa Law Review as well as Note and Comment Editor.  She was co-president of the Iowa Student Bar Association and a student representative for the Iowa Law School Foundation Board.  Ms. Kelley received her B.A. in Political Science and Psychology, with high distinction, in 2003 from the University of Iowa and was the College of Liberal Arts commencement speaker.  As an undergraduate, she served as Panhellenic President, was elected as an executive on the University of Iowa Student Government, was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, and was named 2003 Greek Woman of the Year.
