Bryan Reed is a University of Iowa graduate with a B.A. in Political Science with Honors. While at Iowa, he was involved in Student Government and College Republicans and got his start in politics as an intern on then-Congressman Mark Kirk’s 2008 congressional campaign. After graduating, he joined Robert Dold’s successful 2010 campaign for Congress, his first full-time role in politics, and later served as Dold’s Political Director.

Reed went on to spend more than a decade leading and advising political campaigns and organizations across the country, working on races in more than three dozen states. He served as Political Director for Bruce Rauner’s successful 2014 campaign for Illinois governor and was part of the consulting team for J.D. Vance’s 2022 U.S. Senate campaign in Ohio from its early stages. Reed also managed statewide gubernatorial campaigns in Oregon and Louisiana and worked with Congressional Leadership Fund during the 2020 election cycle, supporting congressional races across the country.

Reed later earned his MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and worked as a summer associate in Wells Fargo’s Financial Sponsors Group while completing his degree. Following Darden, he was appointed Advisor for Healthcare and Insurance at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, where he served as a political appointee in the federal government. A Chicago native, Reed returned home to Chicago in 2026.
