Karrie Leza graduated from the University of Iowa in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In 2023, she earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa.

As Vice President of Gas Delivery, Karrie oversees the overall planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance and control of MidAmerican Energy’s natural gas distribution and transmission systems. She also oversees the transportation of natural gas to customers who purchase their natural gas from third-party suppliers. Karrie joined MidAmerican in 2007 advancing through roles of increasing responsibility and leadership, including Vice President of Safety, Training, and Development. She is currently the executive sponsor for Energized Women, a MidAmerican employee resource group.
