He later served as chief marketing officer of a $1.5 billion commercial and retail bank holding company, where he led reputation management efforts surrounding the 2008 banking industry crisis. More recently he launched a new concept in travel technology for which he received a Chicago Innovation Award. He speaks regularly on issues of consumer trends, innovation and entrepreneurship.
